Pediatric Practical Pearls
Save the date for our virtual Pediatric Practical Pearls Conference on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025 from 8 am – 11:30 am. This is a half day course held on a Saturday from 8:00am to 11:30am. Designed for pediatricians, family practice physicians, and others providing healthcare to children. This conference will focus on updating primary care physicians on the latest medication and treatment options for patients with autism, and is designed to provide primary care pediatricians with the tools and the most up-to-date approach to address pediatric patients with mental health diagnoses and/or autism.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Understand the most up to date treatments and interventions for patients with autism
- Identify ways to decrease barriers to care for patients with autism and mental health disorders
- Understand how to utilize and coordinate with school-based health resources
- Understanding when and how to connect families who have a child with autism to available community resources.
