Richard H. Bernhardt, MD

Dr. Bernhardt practices medicine with an understanding that listening to his patients is one of the best diagnostic tools. Committed to providing empathetic care to every patient, Dr. Bernhardt appreciates the variety of treating both adults and children. He is proud of the diverse training he received during his affiliations at IU Health University Hospital, IU Health Methodist Hospital, Wishard and the Veterans Administration Hospital, and the time that he spent caring for patients in Kenya and Haiti. In his free time, Dr. Bernhardt enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children. He also is an enthusiastic participant in his church’s choir and likes golf and other outdoor activities.
