Dr. Rushton has been a practicing pediatrician for more than 20 years. The aspects of his job he finds most rewarding include family interaction, preventive healthcare opportunities and helping to influence his patients’ medical and mental health. Working in collaboration with families, Dr. Rushton treats his patients as individuals using best practices and the most up-to-date medical literature. He is especially interested in behavioral health issues, public health and medical education. Dr. Rushton enjoys playing guitar, hiking, tennis and spending time with his three children and his wife, who is a pharmacist at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health.

Dr. Rushton focuses on my children's needs as an importance. He really lends a ear to when they are aching, uncomfortableness, or have a need when it comes to to their health. My children always enjoy his doctors visits.

I'm more than satisfied !!! dr Jerry Rushton has been my family's pediatrician for almost 20 years and his care and his genuine concern for our family has NEVER wavered. NOT ONCE! That's a rare find.
